Fleabag is one of my favorite shows of all time， if you haven’t seen it PLEASE watch it immediately！！ It’s serious and hilarious， witty and crude， and above all else deeply moving。 （season two is the best， oh my god I love Andrew Scott）。 Like all my favorites， it makes me feel seen。 This is basically just a script of fleabag with some notes from Phoebe Waller-Bridge at the end。 I adore the show and so this was a very cool read， especially because I haven’t read a script for a TV series before。 I Fleabag is one of my favorite shows of all time， if you haven’t seen it PLEASE watch it immediately！！ It’s serious and hilarious， witty and crude， and above all else deeply moving。 （season two is the best， oh my god I love Andrew Scott）。 Like all my favorites， it makes me feel seen。 This is basically just a script of fleabag with some notes from Phoebe Waller-Bridge at the end。 I adore the show and so this was a very cool read， especially because I haven’t read a script for a TV series before。 It was really interesting to see how this script came to life from paper to the screen with all the different notes for the setting， camera， and performance。 Admittedly， I’ve seen the show so many times I can envision what’s happening while I’m reading it， which obviously would not be the case for someone less familiar。Reading this script was like reading fleabag‘s diary， since I could read the interpretation of the scene rather than just watching the scene。 There are also little details included in the script that aren’t in the show。 For example， anyone who knows the show will know that many of the characters do not have actual names。 The protagonist is “Fleabag”， godmother is “godmother”， and only some of Fleabag‘s most beloved friends and family are given names， like her sister Claire。 However， not everyone in the show without a name is given a descriptor。 But in the script we could see that the hot lawyer guy who’s an asshole is actually called “hot misogynist。” Apologies for the rambliness of this review - I literally used speech to text to write this。 Big take away， live laugh love Phoebe Waller-Bridge。 。。。more

An amazing read。This show is so funny and profound。 The characters are exquisite， as well。 It was enjoyable to explore this story again， and to get some insight into the creation of this masterpiece–although more of that would have been marvelous。

Yes it’s just the script but the script is so good！ I though it’d be really interesting to give this to someone who hasn’t seen the show and see how they like it， so I gave it to my aunt and now she’s putting on a community theatre production of Fleabag and I’m really worried。 She’s playing Fleabag， and for the look-at-camera scenes she’s got a man on stage dressed as a camera， and because she’s doing it in the church hall she’s been to nervous to rehearse any of the scenes with the priest。 Anyw Yes it’s just the script but the script is so good！ I though it’d be really interesting to give this to someone who hasn’t seen the show and see how they like it， so I gave it to my aunt and now she’s putting on a community theatre production of Fleabag and I’m really worried。 She’s playing Fleabag， and for the look-at-camera scenes she’s got a man on stage dressed as a camera， and because she’s doing it in the church hall she’s been to nervous to rehearse any of the scenes with the priest。 Anyway it opens tomorrow night， it’s almost definitely gonna be six hours long and we’re all gonna be there and only say nice things。 。。。more

The love I have for Fleabag is （almost） unmatched。 I loved reading this right after the original play script to see the differences。 Also the stage directions in this play were just perfect perfect perfect。
